    Our Programmes

One Framework. Three Programmes. Everyone Aligned.

Outcomes improve when systems respond earlier, consistently, and with the same understanding. Our three interconnected programmes ensure that every adult around the child shares a common language and a coordinated approach.

    School Training

    For all school staff

Three-tiered training (universal, targeted, specialist) that equips every adult in school to recognise, understand, and respond to EBSA. From receptionists to headteachers, every interaction becomes an opportunity for support.

    Professional Training

    For LA and health professionals

Typically accessed by 20+ services in each partner authority, including EPs, Virtual School teams, social workers, attendance officers, and MHST practitioners. Builds specialist EBSA knowledge and creates a shared framework across services.

    Family Horizons

    For parents and carers

Five-chapter programme that empowers families to understand EBSA, strengthen daily routines, and actively support their child's wellbeing and return to attendance. Giving families the understanding and confidence to make a real difference at home.

    Every Interaction is an Intervention.

When every adult around a child shares the same understanding, thousands of small moments become opportunities for support.

    Testimonials

Trusted by Commissioners Across the UK

"EBSA Horizons gave us a common language across schools, families, and services. Within the first year we saw a measurable shift in how quickly schools were identifying and responding to attendance concerns — and our EHCP requests linked to EBSA dropped noticeably."

    Head of SEND

    Partner Local Authority

"The training gave our team the confidence to have early conversations with families — we're now identifying children at risk of EBSA much sooner, and our referral quality to specialist services has improved significantly."

    Principal Educational Psychologist

    Partner Local Authority

"Family Horizons has been transformative. Parents tell us they finally feel understood and equipped. We're seeing families re-engage with school who had previously withdrawn entirely."
